Cocktails Galore at The Westin Kuala Lumpur

4 July 2016

Nothing beats a night out with your best mates! I love having a drink with my friends during the weekend, especially cocktails! There are so many easy-to-drink cocktails that come in pretty colours and sweet flavours. Generally, women prefer cocktails for an easier drinking experience. If you're a cocktail drinker, odds are you've heard of the term ‘craft cocktails’ floating around recently.

Guess what - there are plenty of crafted cocktails in the market. Each place has their own specialty with different tastes and ingredients. I was surprised to find them available at The Westin Kuala Lumpur too. It is located at QBA Bar & Grill and if you enjoy cocktails, this is the perfect spot!

The Westin Hotels & Resorts have recently introduced Crafted at Westin, a new cocktail menu that invites guests to choose well behind the bar. They use a lot of natural ingredients in the cocktails, which taste fresher and less sweet compared to your average cocktail. If you like specialty cocktails, I recommend giving it a try.

Last weekend, my friend and I enjoyed fresh cocktails at QBA Bar & Grill.

I really love the comfortable environment. Every corner has its own privacy and space.

I love it because it's fruity, pretty and not too strong.
Cheers for more blessings to come!

These were the cocktails that I tried:

GOLDEN EYE, a blend of pineapple juice, lemon juice and Sapodilla (Ciku) juice for those who prefer non-alcoholic beverages. This mocktail is inspired by the popular Sapodilla milkshake due to the fruit’s natural energy boosting elements and rich nutrients. The taste of Sapodilla is also sweet and delicious, and blends perfectly well with pineapple and lemon juice.

MANGOSTANA features a mix of muddled blueberries, ginger, dried sour plum (Asam Boi) and Mangosteen with fresh orange juice and gin. The Mangosteen’s delectably sweet and slightly sour taste suits my taste buds!

My vote goes to Mangostana! I love the taste, it is so refreshing and i personally like sour plum.
Try this out if you happen to pay a visit in the future! I'm sure you'll love it like i did.
