I’ve been battling with some stuff last few days. 

I’m not going to go much into detail here. (it is in my dayre-karenkho25 if you wonder) But GUESS WHAT? The important part is that I’m winning those battles, I've achieved something new. Overcome my emotions. Another milestone in my life. AND, YAY! I'm currently in Dubai. It's 9:00am in Malaysia and 5:00am in Dubai but i'm wide awake! Well, at least i can have some extra time to finally blog about my Birthday (last week) since i've nothing to do now. 

Not to mention that i'm officially 24 now! Time flew so fast after my 21st birthday. Yea, time flies even faster when you're having fun. Alright, not to complain. Age is just a number. As long as i've living it right, age doesn't really matter right. 

Anyway since I’m 24 now, this calls for a self appreciation post.

24 years of life and taking time to reflect back on the years I have lived, I just can't be more grateful for how amazing life has been. Life has never been always happy and that's how it is. Circumstance made me what i am today. Maybe life has not turned out exactly how I thought it would but it has turned out to be how it should be. The people I have met, the memories I have built, the things I have experience makes me so grateful about my life. 

This is the second year i celebrating his birthday together with him. Yes, another year of love.

I blogged about his birthday last year too, here's the link. We had Japanese food last year, so this year  we planned to go for something different. My boy is a MEAT lover! In facts, He can't live without protein, he wants to hit his protein macro everyday. So i guess western food has the most proteinnnnn. Hahaha, what a thoughtful gf i am. LOL! 

It is really headache to find a nice place for celebration nowadays. Why? Because there's TOO MANY CHOICES out there! Somemore, you know right, social media addict like us NEED to take nice nice photos. So it's "extra" important to find a right place! hahaha. From western food, japanese food, chinese cuisine, thai cuisine to fine dine etc.  Do you still remember the day we only have "The Ship" and "Victoria Station"? Now…there is TOO MUCH, TOO MUCH choices out there! 

So, i found this place -Hemisphere Restaurant. A brand new Sky Bar/Sky Dining in KL. After all, I wasn't really impressed with the restaurant because this place is not as nice as i expected, not really classy. You can still see people wearing swimwear/sportswear walking pass the restaurant while you're eating -.- …because it's right next to the residence's pool. 

The food price is affordable. Especially the beer! Half pint of beer for just RM11, quite cheapppp!

Christmas is just few days away. Are you guys ready for it?
 It's the time of the year where I'd feel extremely joyful for everything! From the lovely light decorations put up on display around town, gathering party and giving gifts for my love ones..

How time flies, 2014 already coming to an END
  *hate the fact that i'm aging day by day*

It's another year. another christmas with this guy, my boyfriend.

Each day, every single one of us has something to be grateful for.
But how many of us really show our appreciation and be thankful for it?

It's 25 of August 2014 and I turned 23. 

Happy Birthday to myself once again. 

Officially not a teenager anymore, I'm grown..grown older each day :( Of course nothing significant has changed yet but the thought of growing up so quickly hit me really hard. Wish i could stay young forever *it's silly i know, just saying*

Turning 23 has made me realized that I should really appreciate what I have now and I should try to do whatever I've always wanted to do before it's too late. I still vaguely remember the days when I was still in secondary school and how I was so desperate to grow up then. I wanted to go clubbing, I wanted my freedom this and that, it was just like yesterday. I'm not saying that I'm very old now and I know some of you may be irritated at the fact that I keep complaining about growing old, hahaha. I made a wish every year ( not going to tell you what it is) But i'm quite happy i've achieved my "goal" this year. My hard work pays off! Now i'm chasing for a whole new chapter of my life, growing up to be more mature and taking on even heavier responsibilities…and of course, earn more money! ( expend my business) Hopefully i can be a successful & independent woman in the future. *work for it*

I told myself that I'm not going to live the way I've lived over the past few years. Now, it's all about life changing. Change to be something better, i know i can do it. Just need more POSITIVE energy to keep me moving. Feel free to drop me some, hahahaha.

So, where did i go on my birthday?

It was a memorable one, so i decided to blogged all the details down. It will be super long.

I've no idea where am i going until i reached the destination. My bf planned everything for me & he's trying to keep everything secretly..just to give me a SURPRISE. hahahah. My curiosity is killing me for days, i keep on asking him but he refuse to tell..just ordered me to be prepared at 5.30pm. I said : Okay, you can bring me to wherever you want, but NOT marini! It's so expensive, unless the dinner is free then is okay. LOL! He drove me to Mandarin Oriental Hotel (which is next to marini), the moment he drove his car to the carpark..i saw "Marini 57" sign..i was like..(O_O) "Not Marini right?!"..He said : "No la..u think i'm rich or what"…But ended up, right after we parked our car..we are walking toward Marini. I was acting really silly that night, keep on nagging him.. " oi oi oi, why come here!!"

I still feeling uncomfortable although we were seated down. *awkward smile*

He asked me to calm down the whole night. He said all he want is just to make my day to be more memorable. Just enjoy it. Awwww, how sweet is him.

where they have a Lounge, a Bar and a Dining place which serves fine dining cuisines

it is an Italian restaurant, with a master chef originated from Italy.

We manage to reached there around 6pm, so that we can get to enjoy the sunset.

As expected, the price is a bit pricey. I don't know what to order. 

So he asked me to close the menu and he ordered everything for me. LOL.

The first to arrrive at the table after menus were distributed were the complimentary breads for the table which were very good.  Personally, i like the pizza bread. It's crispy!

To start things off, we were presented with a rather cute bonzai plant, on which our Kalamata Olives coated with basil leave and parmesan cheese hung.

TARTAR PIATTA (RM138)

Finely minced pure Angus beef with 18 condiments and pan brioche

The Chef mix all the ingredient together in front of us.

Finally. The Augus beef have to goes along with the bread.

Main Course 

CAPELLINI ALL’ARAGOSTA (RM178)

Angel hair pasta, Maine lobster tail and light tomato sauce

No doubt, it's a shape of lobster. The lobster is so good, fresh with a scent of tomatoes. But the pasta is normal, a bit tasteless. I prefer it to be more sour (more scent of tomato) since it's tomato favor. 

FILETTO DI MANZO (RM188)

Grilled 120-day grain-fed Angus beef tenderloin, roasted potatoes, bone marrow, vegetables and Chianti sauce

I've no idea why there's foam on top of the beef. But the beef is delicious, very juicy and tender. Well cooked, tastes excellent. Others than that, the side dishes is pretty normal. Perhaps they should add something special in tastes. *just saying* Hahahaha.

& 12 different types of chocolate. I tried the 70% Dark chocolate & Green Tea. Don't really remember what's the others favor because i got attracted by "dark chocolate" & "green tea" only.

It was amazing to see the Twin Towers at such close proximity. It's just right behind me.

While i was busy enjoying the view, the waitress bring this out. 

It was the first surprise from my boy. I'm expecting this. I knew that he will order this because i did this to him on his birthday too.. I knew that he will do the same things for me already. Hahaha, BINGO!

But, there's something i didn't expected. 

#Second surprise, while i was too busy taking photo of the desserts..The staff pass me a bouquet of flower and a gift from my bf! I was really really shocked. My bf is expecting me to cry but i didn't..hahaha. I just burst out of laughter of happiness & i keep staring at him…I asked : "Why are you doing this why are you doing this?"..."What a surprise!!" That's the ring i that always wanted, but i was planning to buy myself. I didn't know that he will buy me as a  gift cause he already spent that much of money on the dinner. I felt sorry for making him spent that much of $$ on my birthday >.<

Awwwww, he secretly planned everything earlier. The present, the dinner...everything. 

I feel so blessed, never expect this to happens. I'm so lucky to have such a loving person in my life. Seriously, before i met you.. i thought all the good guy out there are probably married or dead, but then i found you! ..Wyman Ho, why are you so sweet!! You successfully surprise me! You're giving me everything i want in a night! A super memorable one. Awwww, I was fill with load of love and sweetness that night because of you. Thank you for all the efforts, Thank you for everything. I know how much you loved me, i love too baby!

Overall, it was a great eating out experience. The food is fine, Their services is excellent. i would rate them 9/10. Not a 10 because there's always room for improvement! hahaha. So, the total bill came up to RM700. Be prepare to get surprised by the outrageously high food price when you step into Marini. But it's worthy. Once a while is fine. Worth to try if you're looking for some special place for dining!

Happy 23th Birthday WymanHO! I've no idea why i kena "con" by his looks at the first place, he doesn't looks like 23 at all! After since i get to know him longer, he's definitely a 23 years old guy.. or maybe younger than that. hahahah! Baby, you're now officially 23th years old, May you be blessed with happiness, success and unlimited joy. I hope we can spend another year, happy and in love. 

Happy Birthday Once again!! 

We had an earlier celebrate one day before his Birthday @Mable 8 with his friends. Just a bottle of wine, few cups of drink & some desserts and we called it a night. Nothing special. I didn't really took  photos because i was too busy talking with my babe Chenelle. LOL. We went to PHUTURE for second round. It has been a while i never step in that places. Everything is the same, but the feeling isn't the same anymore. I donno how to explain…Hmmm, It's like,,I'm not excited to go to party anymore like the past. I feel old for party, i feel stressed when seeing so many people inside the club, i don't feel like drinking either. So.. basically i just stand there the whole night and looking after my boy. He's drunk that night. That's what happened to a Birthday Boy on his Birthday right. It's the first time i ever saw him drunk….It's also the first time i taking care of a drunkard. I used to be the one who always let someone else take care of me last time. Seems like everything has CHANGED! hohoho! But you know what, i prefer how it is right now. If you want me to blog about my feeling, my experience & my thoughts, i can write 5000 words thesis! Hahahaha next blog post maybe. It's kinda out of topic already. 

He looks really exhausted cause he's in a serious hangover, LOL!

Whether it is a Birthday, Valentine's day, or Anniversary etc … always give me a big headache! I don't really like BIG DAY, cause it's really hard to decide WHERE TO EAT! That's the "first world problem"… I asked my boy one month before his birthday, he said he had no idea..ask me to decide. Seriously, i've no idea too! I'm a indecisive person. Hahaha! Initially, we planned to join his family for dinner at Rakuzen..but ended up we go out for dinner ourselves because we went to Rakuzen like "every week".. We don't wanna eating at the same place. My opinion is...birthday dinner doesn't have to be an expensive one, but at least something different, something new. Am i right ? So i insist to bring him to some new places. (although i donno where to go)

 We were siting inside the car & driving around without a destination. 

"WESTERN FOOD or JAPANESE FOOD?" i asked 

Eventually, he can't give me an answer. So i decided to go for Japanese food because that's my ALL TIME FAVORITE! We went to COCO TEI in Jalan Delima, KL. Not too pricey & the environment is quite comfortable. I been this place before few years back. I really had a good experience in there, so i decided to pay another visit on that day :)

They had nice tatami seats which makes the whole ambience and experience more authentic.
The interior design of the place is modern mixed with very Japanese traditional stuff.

We ordered two sets menu that night. Mine is the one with Soba soup, his is the one with sizzling beef.

It's more worthy to order from SET MENU because you get to try their Sashimi, salad, Chawanmushi & the main course (at your choice). In cheaper price. 

There's so many birthday party to attend lately! But i can only remember the special one i've attended earlier in Container Hotel, KL. It's Povy's 22th Birthday Party! Another theme party that night, which is color pop. As you can see, everyone who attend that party tonight were all dressed up very colorful, making the whole party more cheerful. hahahaha. Thank you bf for accompanied me that night, i don't have to worry that he got nothing to do over there..because he always bumped into friends everywhere.  Guess he had bigger social network than i do. LOL!

Yes, it's a THEME PARTY and obviously it's SHANGHAI NIGHT. So everyone who attend the party have to dress up with something oriental. Hahaha, Just in time for pre Chinese New Year, wore cheongsam for CNY rehearsal, LOL! Hmmm, but I didn't really set up my hair because it's too rush, don't have time for it. So…. i guess wearing a cheongsam is good enough.

We celebrate her Birthday at Grand Shanghai, Setia City mall. It's located at Puchong. There's a Shanghai street at the upper floor, below the cinema. You know what, love the atmosphere so much! Every corner of the place is fill with 1930 Shanghai's decorations, so oriental and vintage. Totally makes me feel like i'm at the old city of Shanghai. Scroll down, Have a look :)

I'm officially 22 now! How time flies, I'm feeling old already, wish i could stay forever young, forever 21. LOL! *i wish* No more fancy celebration this year, just a simple one. Thank you to my boyfriend for organizing everything. You know what, birthday celebration is not easy...The venue, the food preparation, the guest list etc, all these can really put someone in a massive headache, seriously. I've been through all these before, so i decided let my bf handle everything this year, hahaha!

Well, i never invite all of my friends. Just some of them this time. Mostly all my part time gym partner and my high school friends...LOL.
