Yellow Brick Road @Damansara Heights [Review]

18 July 2015

Over the past few years, we see numerous of cafe cafe popping out around us. I'm not sure whether it's a good things or a bad things. It's good because we get to have more choices of FOOOOD and place to lepak around us. BUT...we tend to spent more money now compare to last time. People nowadays want to Instagram/Social Media their food more than really tasting it. Coffee art, big breakfast, fancy desserts, It's like a waves of trend now.

Obviously, there's TOO MANY cafes around. It's impossible to TRY IT ALL. Recently. I've heard a lot of good reviews about this place, Yellow Brick Road. So i decided to pay a visit.

The cafe is easy to go via WAZE, nearby Bangsar area
Yellow Brick Road is located at Jalan Batai, Damansara Heights, opened by the same owners of The Red Beanbag. Jason Loo, the 2013 and 2015 Malaysia Barista Champion is the brew master.

There's one things i love about is their environment, so comfortable and cosy
Fresh flowers around, every corners.
But, The food are a bit pricey, a bit overrated for just a brunch.

Here's what we had

Hot Chocolate , Latte

The Big Breakfast Bash (RM30)

Peter Pandan Pancake (RM22)

My opinion : If you ask me how's the food. I would say NORMAL, nothing really special about the food. However, i'm not a professional food blogger. What i feel is just..the food doesn't really worth the price that i pay for it. Maybe I was expecting more than that. hahaha, Well, Try it out yourself and tell me what do you think about it :)

  1. I tried the same pancake as you!
Literally just pandan pancake with nangka slice...
Thumbs up for being so honest in your food review!

p/s: I'd recommend you to Strangers47 for their sweet crepe if you're yet to try, price is half of this and way better taste.
