I’m back to one of the most familiar city i’ve been visiting again! Almost losing my counts of visiting Hong Kong, but still there is so much more so see and explore in this busy city! This round, it is for the most beautiful season of the year! I really love the weather in Hong Kong during year ends, not too cold and so chilly.
Christmas is the season to be jolly! If you have no idea where to go this season and are looking for something different to do, read on and mix up the usual festivities here where i’m about to share with you guys!

Yes, I'm back to this busy city again. All the way to Hong Kong for Calvin Klein Performance x Daybreaker Event. Thank you Calvin Klein Performance for having me.

For this round, i'm staying in Hong Kong Island part as usual. But this time, i'm exploring Central a little bit more. Because I'm staying in The Pottinger Hotel. This hotel is quite new and it is a boutique hotel. So there's no swimming pool in the hotel.

The Pottinger Hong Kong is centrally located in the heart of Central, a pivotal hub of business and finance, shopping, dining, culture and entertainment. A 5-minute walk from Lan Kwai Fong, a 1-minute walk from Central MTR Station and a 5-minute walk from the Mid-Level Escalator.

Central is a place that combines modernity and vintage. While luxury outlets are all around you, a turn into a street you will be welcomed with old, historical shops that make you feel warm. This hotel is located in Pottinger Street, known as Stone Slabs Street石板街 by locals, is made from uneven stone slabs to facilitate walking, seeing that this is another steep hillside area.

Central District is a great choice for travellers interested in nightlife, restaurants and gourmet food.

The location is good, easy to walk around. It is just 5 mins away to my favourite shop- Topshop, Zara etc. So convenient to do my shopping. hehe. Apparently, it is just right opposite TopShop, cross the road and walk up to the stairs and you will find Potting Hotel on your left. Also, The Famous roasted goose Yat Lok is just right opposite the hotel.
It is a lovely hotel i must say. Love it so much especially once i enter the lobby!

Deluxe Room ( Price around MYR1200++ per night)

Talking about hotels stay, Boutique hotels are more my jam. And this one in Hong Kong is a goodie. If you choose to stay at a boutique hotel, you will get a different experience to the one a chain can offer. This boutique hotels usually have a concept and creative design and their owners collaborate with noted and creative designers and painters, find unusual furniture and dishes and hold art exhibitions.

After visiting Hong Kong for a couple of times. I've realised that one of the things that the Hongkie LOVE about : shopping and eating. If the locals aren’t out on the streets of Causeway Bay shopping, they’re probably out for yumcha (dim sum) or checking out the hottest eateries in town. Honestly, there’s just not enough time, money and stomach space for you to eat all the food in Hong Kong. So, you still have to be selective and go for your priority food. For me, i like locals Chinese food and i love something Insta-worthy and tastes good at the same time! Hahaha. Therefore, here is a summary of some of the places i went for this round.

#1 DIM SUM ICON

I could not resist when my friends told me that there’s actually Gudetama-themed dim sum restaurant. I mean, cute and tasty?! Of course, I had to give it a shot! Dim Sum Icon has two outlets in Hong Kong, the most popular one should be the one in THE ONE at Tsim Sha Tsui, but I went to the one in Central. Its around 5 minutes walk from the MRT station.
Hello, HONG KONG!
I'm back to this city for the sixth time this round. Hong Kong is a busy city. If you are a city girl/boy, you will definitely love this place! It is so much to do here, it is really headache about where to start in order get the most out of the trip. For me, i love to shop during my trip. That's the reason why, it is a MUST to do some shopping! I've been to most of the common shopping district in HK. So this time, i decided to explore some new places and guess what i've found? SOLO Mall. Basically, It is a unique concept building with a lot of shop lots.

Booking a hotel is very easy. But finding the right hotel? It took us forever! If you are a tourist in Hong Kong, people say that it is best to book a hotel between Tsim Sha Tsui and Mongkok. But depending on your itinerary, you might consider other areas. For me, the most important thing is that the hotel is very near MTR stations, restaurants or food stalls and convenient stores. Of course, you should also make sure you feel safe in the area, its surroundings, and the building itself.

So, which part to stay in? The Kowloon area or The Hong Kong Island?

If you stay in Kowloon, the Tsim Sha Tsui part of Kowloon is probably the area of Kowloon that most tourists seem to prefer. Many of the Kowloon tourist attractions are located in this neighborhood. It is also near to Mongkok, which many people would feel has a more "local" feeling - that is, less tourists compared to Tsim Sha Tsui and more local people and street life (the ladies market, sneakers streets etc.)  If you stay on Hong Kong Island, I would recommend staying in Causeway Bay or the neighborhood called Central.

But, regardless of whether you stay in Kowloon or Hong Kong Island, as long as you are relatively near the MTR station then you are fine because the public transportation is quite convenient in Hong Kong. It will take you anywhere you need to go.

For the hotel, If you are on a tight budget, you will be happy to know that there are a lot of budget hotels in Hong Kong. There are a huge number of hotels in Hong Kong and with so many to choose from, it can be really hard to decide where you should stay. If you are not travelling with a large group of people. You can consider ....

Yes, i'm finally back from Hong Kong again. Traveling is the best thing i can ever had. Okay, Finally have time to blog about some food hunt i found during this trip. Well, basically.. there's nothing much to explore in HK. Only food, food, food, shopping, shopping and shopping. Nothing much, only a few attractions. You can read my previous review about Hong Kong - HERE ( Place to go in HK)

You know what, The only things i love about Hong Kong is the street scene. I can just walk around without a particular destination or purpose and i enjoy doing it. Hahaha. Every single corner is like what we see in those HK drama. Exactly the same! Too bad we are not lucky enough to meet any movie star.
My best travel companion aka photographer

Finally have time to blog about my 5D4N Hong Kong Trip.

I would say it's a great experience to blog about my food and travel journeys. It's like writing a diary and I could just reread everything again and again to remind me of what I have been through.

I went to HK with my mom last month. We booked our flight and hotel everything in Expedia. It's a website where you can book your flight ticket and hotel together. My trip is around RM3700 for two if not mistaken. I'm not sure whether is it the cheapest deal, but i guess it's the easiest way to get everything booked. Thru this...I saved up a lot of time, don't have hassle around in different website to book the flight ticket and hotel separately. I'm lazy to do that, some more i booked everything few days before my flight. It's super super LAST MINUTE!

I don't even have time to PLAN for my trip *biggest mistakes*

Although this is my 3rd times visiting HK, but i'm still blur with this places. BECAUSE, the previous time i visited HK is like 10 years ago, how could i possibly remember all the details? hahahah! So..it's like my first visit this time. I did some research from the internet before i go,but it's not really helpful for me. Add on, there's TOO MANY REVIEWS out there. It's really hard & it takes time to find " the ONE" that suits our literary.

My mom is a shopaholic, She wants to shopping everywhere she go.
So basically, My HK trip is more on SHOP, EAT, and a bit of side seeing.

Alright, let's get back to topic. Let me introduce you all some places i've been in HK.

Greetings from Hong Kong!

Travel is full of Happiness. I enjoy traveling around so much!
It's another last minute trip i booked last week & here i am in Hong Kong right now.

This is probably the 3/4 times i travel to Hong Kong, the last time i visited here is years ago.
I can't even remember WHEN! ….Can you imagine how long is it? I don't remember anything about HK, this place is a bit strange for me. I did some last minute research online before i fly here. But most of the information is not-good-enough for ME.

I've no idea how to plan my whole trip. *just follow the flow*

Just landed at HK yesterday morning.
It was a morning flight, i don't even have time to sleep the night before i fly. *insomnia kills*

If you ask me what i like about Hong Kong, i would say…the view. Especially at night.
Tall buildings sitting side by side dominate this beautiful city. I'm planning to go to Victoria Harbor at night to enjoy the night view of HK. But it's typhoon out there, raining at night. Ruined my plans.

 My Travel Essentials

Thank you Wiyo for sending me a pocket wifi in Hong Kong once i touched down.
I don't have to look around to get a local sim card anymore this time!

Now i get to updates my Instagram ANYTIME i want! hehehehe :D

So far, i've visited Mong Kok, Tsim Sha Tsui, Central & The Peak!
But still, i can't find any nice places to shop ( something suitable for me i mean)

Maybe I still NOT FAMILIAR with this placeeeeeeeee

Give me some idea, where should i go?

Thank youuuuuu :D
